How did VIT's friendship with Heldmaschine begin?

Have you ever wondered how the friendship between Vlad In Tears and Heldmaschine began?

I asked Chris, the vocalist of the band VIT, about it.

Question:

From what we already know, this is not your first tour with Heldmaschine, do you remember how your adventure together began?

Chris:

Exactly, this is our second tour with Heldmachine... it all started with following each other on social media, and one day we received an invitation to share the stage with them for two shows.

After we agreed, right the day before the first show, our (ex) drummer fell sick, so we couldn't perform a rock show, but, we didn't want to lose the chance, so my brother Dario and I decided to drive for 6 hours and a half, by car, just to perform in acoustic in front of all the people...

When we arrived at the venue for the first show, Renee, the singer of Heldmachine, saw it was only me and Dario with an acoustic guitar, and he was shocked we didn't give up on that chance... So as a matter of respect, he introduced us and told everyone in the crowd about our adventure and how cool we were to be willing to drive all the way there and to perform, even without the rest of the band.

That's how a great friendship started.

Question:

Do you have any interesting memories from your tour together that you would like to share with your fans?

Chris:

A great memory with them? Yeah sure...

Dirk,the drummer from Heldmachine, one night wanted to perform with us and play "Wicked Game"

At the end, the whole Heldmachine band joined me and Dario on stage... it was absolutely unforgettable, and after that we also stage dived.

Czy zastanawialiście się kiedyś, jak zaczęła się przyjaźń Vlada In Tears i Heldmaschine?

Zapytałem o to Chris, wokalistę zespołu VIT.

Pytanie:

Z tego co już wiemy, nie jest to wasza pierwsza trasa z Heldmaschine, czy pamiętasz jak zaczęła się wasza wspólna przygoda?

Chris:

Dokładnie, to nasza druga trasa z Heldmachine... wszystko zaczęło się od śledzenia siebie nawzajem w mediach społecznościowych i pewnego dnia otrzymaliśmy zaproszenie do dzielenia z nimi sceny na dwa koncerty.

Po tym jak się zgodziliśmy, dzień przed pierwszym występem, nasz (były) perkusista zachorował, więc nie mogliśmy zagrać rockowego show, ale nie chcieliśmy stracić tej szansy, więc mój brat Dario i ja zdecydowaliśmy się jechać 6 godzin samochodem, tylko po to, by wystąpić akustycznie przed wszystkimi ludźmi...

Kiedy dotarliśmy na miejsce pierwszego koncertu, René, wokalista Heldmachine, zobaczył, że jesteśmy tylko ja i Dario z gitarą akustyczną, i był zszokowany, że nie zrezygnowaliśmy z tej szansy.... więc z szacunku, przedstawił nas i opowiedział wszystkim w tłumie o naszej przygodzie i o tym, jak fajnie, że byliśmy gotowi przejechać całą drogę i wystąpić, nawet bez reszty zespołu.

Tak zaczęła się nasza wielka przyjaźń.

Czy masz jakieś ciekawe wspomnienia ze wspólnej trasy, którymi chciałbyś się podzielić z fanami?

Chris:

Wspaniałe wspomnienia z nimi? Tak, na pewno.

Dirk, perkusista Heldmachine, pewnej nocy chciał z nami wystąpić i zagrać "Wicked Game". Na koniec cały zespół Heldmachine dołączył do mnie i Dario na scenie... to było absolutnie niezapomniane, a potem również zanurkowaliśmy ze sceny na publiczność.
